Rumah Sakit Mardi Waluyo, Metro, Lampung.

Now me at my Obstetric and Gynecology Department in Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Lampung, Sumatera Selatan. A small hospital, not too big compared to other hospital i went. But this is a great hospital [my friends says lah!] and now i admit it. In a day, there will be more than a thousand of patient seeking for their Internist (dr. Amri, Sp PD), Surgeon (dr Paran, Sp B), OnG (dr. Christian Paulsen, Sp OnG) and also the neurologist yang super relax (dr. Hardi, Sp S). All of them are really amazing, in this one small district, they manage to save a lot of people life with minimal tools.

Last week, i went for Baksos (Bakti Sosial) similar like a social worker in medical for 2 days. This is my 5th time joining this kind of event. Here in Indonesia, people do appreciate you a lot better than other country, thats why i never regret finishing my study here :) First day we went to Bandar Lampung, the most southerly part of Sumatera and the next day, we went to Gurun Puharjo, Lampung Timur. This event combine us as the medical practitioner from this hospital and also a group of tourist from Korea (Saranghaeyo!) <--sangat hepi dapat jumpa orang Korea actually, haha

In this event, i get the opportunity to be a real doctor --> without being accompanied by other doctors. Ouwh, me so scared because i never handled my patient alone but yet, i think positive, this time i have to build my confident to face my patient. [kalau tak, sampai bila pun hang tak boleh jadi doktor oke~] Most of my patient are elder people, usually complaining about hipertension, diabetes, cramp, dyspepsia etc. Pity of them because they really hope for this free medicine as they dont have enough money and medical provider is too far from them.

Meeting the Korean is also a great moment! their girls are so beautiful, im so jealous with their skin, fair and licin macam laichee maybe? One of them are from Korean embassy in Indonesia, he asked me to check his blood pressure and its slightly higher than normal and me giving him advise to control his foods, no more cholesterol, oily moily, cigarettes, etc...avoid stress and have a healthy life style...and suddenly, he said "i've already know that, but you, you also have to reduce your stress, live your life happily, never make frown face, ok? with that, you'll be more beautiful" hehehe...trus blah. omigosh, he's complaining me kah? fine, maybe im a lil bit in stressed now, haha, malu sangat, tapi takpelah, patient yang pandang kita kn..huhu, I'll keep that in my mind mister X :)

After a very tiring day, in the evening, we all went back to Metro with a satisfaction in our heart. Helping people, meeting new people, watching a beautiful scenery of paddy field makes me feel like home. This kind of feeling i wont get in Jakarta, seriously! Hope i can join this kind of event again, so i can met many handsome Koreans :p
